Science, Discovery and Fun All Together at Forum Kapadokya!
Forum Kapadokya invites children to a three-day experience filled with science and discovery at the TÜBİTAK Science is Everywhere Children’s Festival, taking place on June 19–21, 2026. Running from 12:00 to 20:00 and free of charge, the festival will offer children the opportunity to explore science through hands-on workshops, educational games, science kits, and interactive experiences.
One of the highlights of the festival will be a 3.5-meter-tall giant T-Rex skeleton model. On display at Forum Kapadokya from June 15, the model will give children the opportunity to take a closer look at prehistoric creatures and discover more about dinosaurs. Children will also be able to take photos with the giant T-Rex and turn the experience into a fun and memorable moment.
Hands-on Science Workshops with Expert Guides
Inspired by TÜBİTAK’s popular Meraklı Minik and Bilim Çocuk magazines, the hands-on workshops will give children the opportunity to learn about scientific topics through experimentation and observation. Guided by expert instructors, the activities will encourage children to ask questions, explore, and follow their curiosity.
At the event area, children will also meet science kits including the Periscope Making Kit, Kaleidoscope (Flower Viewer) Making Kit, Rollback Making Kit, and Balancing Bird Making Kit. By building their own science kits, children will develop their fine motor skills, attention, observation, and hands-on making skills while discovering basic scientific principles through practical activities.
Scientific Discovery Continues Through Educational Games
The festival will also feature educational games that bring learning together with play. Through Space Maze, Let’s Go for a Test Drive, and Show the Way to the Entomologist games, children will have fun while using and developing their attention, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Special science- and discovery-themed photo areas will also give children and their families the opportunity to capture and remember their fun-filled festival moments.
Bringing together the excitement of dinosaurs, the curiosity of science, and the joy of discovery, the TÜBİTAK Science is Everywhere Children’s Festival welcomes children and their families to Forum Kapadokya on June 19–21, from 12:00 to 20:00. All activities are free of charge.
